This position is responsible for performing pre move-in, move-out inspections, routine unit condition inspections and cleanliness inspections.Duties
  • Conducts residence unit and common area inspections within specified residences to identify cleanliness, pest control and maintenance issues
  • Conducts Quality Assurance inspections to ensure that the cleaning contractors are meeting expectations, deadlines and the maintenance required is completed
  • Assesses the appropriate cleaning level required and reports any maintenance or damage in units
  • Interacts and communicates with students to educate them on cleaning, maintenance and pest issues in residence
  • Submits necessary maintenance requests and pest control requests and completes follow up
  • Completes Unit Condition Reports accurately with the required documentation
  • Assists the Room Readiness Supervisor to run and monitor advance find reports of check outs to ensure move out inspects are completed in a timely manner
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum Grade 12 diploma
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field, preferably residence management
  • Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s Licence (non-GDL)
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills which includes good teamwork, leadership skills and self-awareness
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to work under pressure, problem solve and to deal with potential conflict situations
  • Well organized and have good time management skills, ability to work under pressure with numerous time constraints
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, take initiative, and be reliable
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Docs, Sheets, Google Office Suite
