How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The main objective and purpose of this position is to supervise and ensure the smooth running of our production facilities.- Ensures plant operation: operates air separation plant and pipeline safety system. Ensures plant start-up and operation, and safely shuts down plant operations. Is responsible for loading and unloading trucks. Ensures compliance with procedures implemented within the Large Industries Group Quality System. Carries out tests to verify plant performance where necessary.- Maintains equipment: Makes recommendations to supervisor through observations on equipment operation. Ensures periodic maintenance of equipment. Knows the properties of industrial gases and the cleaning methods used in oxygen service. Supervises the work of subcontractors if necessary. Responds to equipment breakdowns. Undertakes small maintenance projects according to skills and with supervisor's authorization.- Safety/Quality: Respects the use of protective equipment. Pays particular attention to lockout procedures and access to confined spaces. Participates in maintaining emergency procedures. Acts as first responder in emergency situations, in the absence of his/her supervisor, and initiates all necessary communications. Participates in safety meetings and contributes to the achievement of departmental safety objectives. Reports safety issues to supervisor. Knows and complies with all procedures specified in the plant Quality Manual.- Assure le suivi administratif: Remplit et partage les rapports d'incidents.
