- Set up, adjust, disassemble, and relocate industrial machinery like motors, pumps, fans, conveyors, and furnaces based on layout plans, using basic rigging methods and tools.
- Fine-tune machinery, fix or make new parts as needed.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating machinery.
- Inspect equipment for any issues, report problems, and troubleshoot malfunctions.
- Utilize manufacturing software to plan and manage work orders and track maintenance history using computer systems.
- Collaborate with teams to analyze equipment breakdowns and identify causes.
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Additional related duties as needed.
- Valid Industrial Millwright License (433A) preferred
- Understanding and adherence to Health and Safety regulations, policies, and procedures with a proactive approach to health and safety.
- Proficiency in mechanical tasks.
- Advanced skills in troubleshooting and resolving problems.
- Experience or knowledge of PLCs is advantageous.
- Positive mindset with excellent teamwork abilities.
- Effective communication skills with different departments.
- Willing to render over-time if needed.
- Good communication skills – both verbal and written
- Able to report to a rotating continental shift
