Our Thermal Heads enable Kodak's SquareSpotTM imaging technology which is unique and widely recognized as the best in the industry.The Kodak Thermal Head Development group has a great opportunity for a Systems Engineering Coop to support development of a new Thermal Head Production Jig.In this role, you will utilize and develop your software engineering skills in a high-tech manufacturing environment:
  • Developing, refactoring and testing LabVIEW software in machine vision systems
  • Developing a user interface for optical alignment, data entry and logging
  • Developing and testing algorithms to provide feedback for optical alignments
  • Documenting implemented algorithms and interface
Requirements:
  • Engineering Physics, Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering with opto-mechanical interests and software development skills
  • Familiarity with programming languages: LabVIEW, C, Python
Other desired requirements:
  • Experience in high-tech manufacturing environment
  • Experience with opto-mechanical components
  • Demonstrates good documentation skills and regard for development processes
  • Good interpersonal skills, including maturity, teamwork, respect, courtesy, tact and discretion.
  • High degree of self-motivation and self-management.
