FTE: 0.4 FTE to 1.0 FTE AvailableDriven to make a differenceSilverado Creek Seniors Community in Calgary is open, and we are looking for Physiotherapist to join our team and to support the residents, families, and teams in the following activities.
- Completes and documents initial assessments
- Develops, coordinates and implements individual and group exercise programs
- Ongoing evaluation of treatment programs and progress of residents, revising care plans when necessary
- Assists residents in accessing appropriate mobility equipment through site processes
- Ensures all documentation of assessments, records of observation, care provision and resident responses are according to professional standards and PPSL policies and procedures
- Responsible to read, understand and comply with PPSL's and provincially-mandated
- Graduate of an approved school of physical therapy. Two (2) years recent related experience, preferably as physiotherapist working with the elderly.
- Current practicing registration with the applicable provincial registering body. Experience in a senior’s care environment.
