Slated to open in spring 2024, Queen’s Cross will transform 19,000 square feet of the south side of the shopping centre into a modern-day food emporium with seating to accommodate 300 guests. Job DescriptionThe Front Attendant has a passion for customer service and is able to greet, prepare food & beverages, serve, and cash out guests with a smile. An ability to work independently and as part of a team is important while creating an exceptional experience for all. Directly engage with customers by taking orders and processing payments. This role requires them to be knowledgeable about the menu, promotions, and payment systems. The FOH Attendant are fanatical about cleanliness and pay close attention to detail.The Day to Day:
  • Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service
  • Answer questions and make recommendations on food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services
  • Ensure accuracy when entering information into the POS system
  • Monitor food quality and presentation standards
  • Ensure guests are satisfied with their food and service
  • Respond promptly and courteously to any guest request or concern
  • Monitor the cleanliness of grab & go area and ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter
  • Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing grab & go products
  • Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies
  • Complete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and safely
  • Follow all food safety standards and systems
  • Other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • High attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Passionate about customer service
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational skills and sales ability
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to engage our guests
  • Experience in a similar environment an asset
