- Provide structural design and technical support including calculations, weld design, design drawing review, field investigations, and solutions for the construction or repair of industrial buildings, facilities, and services.
- Write specifications and contract documents.
- Review project documents prior to issue for scope and presentation, including checking for technical accuracy.
- Develop and maintain positive, sustainable client relationships.
- Coordinate and working with project team members
- Undergraduate Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 - 8 years experience working on mining and/or heavy industrial projects is an asset
- Registered or have the ability to register as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in the province of Saskatchewan.
- Broad scope knowledge of structural designs and an understanding of industry codes, standards, and construction methods.
- Material design experience, which may include experience in the use of structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and/or wood.
- Previous experience using SAP2000 is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team-oriented and a creative thinker.
- Demonstrates cooperation and decision-making abilities.
- Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required
