Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time Complex Repair Operator for our client located in Ottawa, ON.The Complex Repair Operator independently conducts DRS operations and repairs, ensuring adherence to standards and quality. They also provide guidance to team members and perform additional duties as needed.Don't miss out on this opportunity-apply today and take the next step towards your career goals!Location: Ottawa, ONShifts: Monday - FridayJob type: Full-time | TemporaryHere's why you should apply:Hires fast, pays weekly.4% vacation pay paid out on each weekly pay cheque.Medical and dental benefits once qualified.Free training programsNew and quicker onboarding processResponsibilities:Independently works as a DRS Operator/Repair.Independently operates relevant equipment according to documented processes as well as on job training.Soldering to IPC-7711/7721 standard for rework, repair and modification of printed boards and electronic assemblies.Soldering to J-STD-001 requirements for soldered electrical and electronic assemblies.Conversant with workmanship standard - IPC-A-610 electronic assembly acceptability.Works to priority provided by the Manufacturing Team Lead/Supervisor.Identifies rework challenges to Process/Manufacturing Engineering, and assists in investigating root cause and corrective actions related to rework of PCB assemblies.Flags any discrepancies in documentation or problems with quality, product or process, and recommends changes related to PCB assemblies for rework.Conducts inspection of rework performed per expectations established as well as follow process flow for quality controls.Uses companies established software applications for tracking/documenting purposes such as SFDC and Agile..Follows 5S procedures within the rework.Rework includes application of DCO/ECO where relevant.Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and performance standards.Provide guidance to less experienced team members.Performs other duties per Supervisor request as may be dictated by business conditions.Qualifications & Skills:Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada1-2 years' experience in soldering.High school education.Sound understanding of soldering techniques/principles for PCB assemblies.Good written/verbal communication in English.Demonstrated capability in all aspects of soldering.Familiarity in using computers and applications where relevant.Demands: Sitting, Visual acuity, manual dexterity.Equipment: Computer, Soldering iron, microscope, DRS Machine.Hazards: Solder and other chemicals, laser safety, UV.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:26 week college course in Electronics Assembly.Don't miss out on this Complex Repair Operator job in Ottawa, apply now!
