- Experience in procurement and materials control and coordination roles, preferably in a construction environment is an asset
- Good computer skills
- Five years as parts technician or higher would be considered an asset
- Previous experience in pressure piping and fabrication considered an asset
- QC administrative experience considered an asset
- High school diploma
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with all internal and external contacts
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Material Tracking Reports and Material Receiving Reports
- Standard First Aid - Level C
- H2S Alive
- CSO
- Skid steer and Telehandler tickets and operate at a competent level
- Our projects happen in 4 major sites in Western Canada, which include locations like Conklin AB, Grande Prairie AB, Whitecourt AB and Fort St. John BC.
- You will be required to travel on your own, by vehicle. Alstar does provide a flat rate to cover travel.
- Properly coordinate owner supplied materials
- Preservation and tracking of material
- Determine and direct material transfer
- Coordination of materials for the job site
- Control and monitor daily changes to material needs to meet production due dates
- Operate equipment (skid steer and Telehandler)
