Reporting to the Head of Product and Operations the product manager will be responsible for the success of their brand. This includes being a key member of the cross-functional squad and supporting the 90-day strategic direction for the brand. They should have a strong understanding the therapeutic area, the customers' needs, patient journey and the regional differences that may exist for the brand potential and the drivers of brand success. They will work collaboratively with members of the product squad and customer squads.Bayer is committed to a flexible hybrid working environment. This is a 14-month Contract position.What you will do: * Agile marketing framework: Welcome change and ability to adapt quickly and work in 90-day cycles. Development of the 90-day strategic goals, liaising with key internal stakeholders to ensure input to and buy-in of the plan, to optimize achievement of plan.
  • Customer centric insight application: Identify specific insights using market research, data analytics, competitive intelligence, customer channels and ensure understanding of disease areas; assessing success against plan; Stay up to date on industry trends and understand what our customers need.
  • Content Management / Digital applications: Work to develop modular content to continuously roll out; produce numerous content modules to address various microsegments and support campaigns in a timely manner. Strong understanding of PAAB guidelines and internal requirements for content development. Define and implement ways to reach customers in digital setting with dynamic content considering user experience.
  • Customer Relationships: Establish strong working relationships with top Canadian thought leaders across multiple segments working closely with Customer Engagement Team.
  • Participate in and evaluate market research and analysis, promotions, public relations, and advertising associated with assigned brands or products; assessing their success against plan
  • Lead the development of educational and promotional materials that span from disease state awareness through to branded tools upon Health Canada approval.
Who you are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business / Science or related field
  • Minimum 2 years marketing, field experience an asset
  • Customer-centric decision making and mindset and project execution based on customer insights
  • Adept to agile ways of working, including digital content and tools
  • Adept at working in a highly-collaborative, lean, agile environment
  • Build trust, promote openness and establish mutual understanding across functions with people. Strength in conflict management
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional analytical skills
  • Ability to challenge the status quo. Comfortable with taking risks and being innovative
  • Ability to translate insights into business priorities and execute on them
