If you dream of joining an organization that is small enough for you to be noticed, but big enough to provide you with a meaningful career, then we want to hear from you!Job DescriptionThe Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms and Corporate Security is currently looking to staff two Security Project Officer positions and to create a pool of qualified candidates.As the incumbent of this position, your main role will be to conduct security assessments in Members of Parliament’s (MP) constituency offices and residences, which includes identifying vulnerabilities and recommending suitable security enhancements in accordance with established guidelines.More precisely, this role involves managing multiple projects across Canada simultaneously, requiring frequent travel and flexibility with working hours, including overtime when necessary. QualificationsEducation
  • Post-secondary education in a related field OR an acceptable combination of education, training and experience related to the work of the position.
Experience
  • Proven background in the physical security sector (experience, education, and/or knowledge);
  • Expertise in security planning and/or knowledge of project management theories, principles, practices, and methodologies;
  • Experience in conducting security and vulnerability assessments and/or knowledge of security, risks, vulnerability principles, and theories;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Assets
  • Experience in working with high-profile clientele;
  • Ability to create floor plans using Visio or similar software;
  • Board-certified physical security professional (PSP);
  • Business Continuity Professional (ABCP, CBCP or BCI equivalent).
